Glen Aliko

Glen Aliko founded CPR Group Ltd in 2007 with a single goal: give Calgary homeowners the kind of roofing and exterior work he’d want on his own home. Nearly two decades later, that commitment hasn’t changed—but his expertise has grown considerably.

Building Science & Net Zero Training

Net Zero Building Science Training: Completed October 30, 2023 through the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA-BC). Pre-approved by BC Housing Licensing & Consumer Services for 12 CPD Points. Delivered by CHBA Qualified Net Zero Trainer Mark Bernhardt. This comprehensive program covers energy-efficient building envelope design, air sealing, insulation strategies, and Net Zero construction standards.

Advanced Building Science: Completed September 11–12, 2023 through EnerQuality, as part of the CHBA “Towards Net Zero Renovations” initiative. A 7-hour intensive workshop led by instructor Andy Oding, covering advanced moisture management, thermal bridging, and high-performance wall assembly design.

Building Science and Details for Exterior and Split Insulated Walls — Certificate of Achievement from the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia (CHBA-BC) Education program. Completed October 30, 2023. Pre-approved by BC Housing Licensing & Consumer Services for 1 CPD Point.

This level of building science training is uncommon among Calgary roofing contractors. It means Glen and the CPR Group team understand not just how to install a roof, but how the entire building envelope works together, moisture control, thermal performance, air barriers, and long-term durability. When we recommend a roofing or siding system, the advice is grounded in science, not sales.

through Federated Insurance. Our CGL policy includes occurrence-based bodily injury and property damage coverage, products and completed operations coverage, personal and advertising injury liability, tenants legal liability ($500,000), environmental impairment liability ($5M aggregate), non-owned automobile coverage ($5M), and hired automobile coverage ($75,000).

WCB-Alberta Coverage

CPR Group Ltd has maintained an active Workers’ Compensation Board account (Account #6862512) in the Roofing/Siding industry since February 13, 2013. We provide worker coverage on all projects, and clearance letters are available on request for general contractors and property managers.
